Pursuing pair
AVC beat Phoenix. Phoenix beat Lionhearts Pride. Pride beat AVC. The battle for promotion is going to feature large for the rest of the season and with Fireball and Wimbledon Wolves 2 each having just lost twice, it could well be a five way campaign.

Competitive month in prospect
One of the divisions that starts a week after the others to regulate usage of facilities and availability of match officials, the division with eight teams like the B section each play two games in October. The format should ensure plenty of interest.

With Fireball in top spot
Having played two more games that their biggest threat, Fireball have spent Christmas and the New year celebrations on top of the table but it will be second place Baks 2 who will be more satisfied with their performances in the first part of the season.

Getting ready to start
For the first time in London's expanding competition, the men's league will have three second divisions and that required a new promotion/relegation rule. At the end of the season all three divisional winners will have earned promotion and the three second place teams will play a mini-tournament to decide who gains a fourth promotion spot.
