First success of Season for Met
It took them over two hours on Saturday afternoon (1st March) but it was a satisfying day for the Met Police team which has threatened on a number of occasions this season while always looking a little unbalanced as a squad ravaged by duty calls on individual players. Balham stay top
Balham started with such a bang that it initially looked as though the whole match would be over in under an hour. However, as Putney settled and Bears relaxed - probably a little too much - the game got closer and closer, very nearly going to a fourth set: then how much further?
