Now a single point separates promotion challengers
A good win for Tuskers keeps them in the hunt for promotion and our competition interesting while Fireball will be disappointed that their second place in the table is not wholly secure. Just the same, they will be pleased at winning the second set and earning a set point in the third. However, the visitors' experience saw them through in the end.

Once again duty rosters decimated the Met's squad and, with a new captain, two new players and a totally changed and minimal sized squad, they needed two sets to settle.

New name in first place
With one loss apiece all season, anticipation gave this all the hallmarks of a tight match and it was good to see two teams with a coach at a game at second division level. At least one of them looks destined for the first next season.

International 2 beat Metropolitan Police (Men’s D2 B - London Volleyball League)

Hosts climb the table
It was another police side significantly changed from recent squads that travelled to Kentish Town, reinforced by the availability of skipper Ashleigh Harry and former International player, Shin Matsuda. Now starting to catch up their arrears of fixtures, the hosts were to climb to second place in the league table.
