London's most successful men's volleyball team has today announced it plans for strengthening its activities in the autumn. With much of sport as locked down as the over seventies, this is great news for all in sport and not least volleyball fans.

Open in new windowSadness reigned last Monday (17th March) when news arrived from Volleyball England and then the London Volleyball Association that competition was being suspended. The government had restricted movement and the life of sports men and women, including volleyball players of course, changed completely and it was to get worse. What could we do?

Richmond leads the way with Graveney and Malory Eagles in pursuit
It was a busy weekend for London junior volleyballers as Malory played host to Richmond and New Forest on Saturday at Ernest Bevin College in the U15 Boys national Championships. Then on Sunday they hosted Richmond and Wessex in the U15 girls Nationals.
