Talented coach turns to teaching
Although some in the sport have known for a few weeks, only today (25th June) have I heard the news that Ashley has resigned from his Greenhouse Sports volleyball head coach position. In this role, his hard work and his knowledge have made an invaluable contribution to the success our sport has achieved in the region in recent years while at the same time improving the profile of volleyball within the Greenhouse Sports organisation.

Fifth place in Austria beach volleyball enough to earn their place
Playing yesterday (10th June) in Baden, Austria, Richmond's Javier and Joaquin Bello's firth place with a 21:15 21:17 win over the host country was enough to earn the pair one of the men's places to represent Europe at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires and earn the plaudits from the European Volleyball Confederation, "The revelation of the competition".
