Open in new windowThere are some 576 matches in the London League this season. During London School Games last month 338 games were played by youngsters who are under sixteen. Under 18s in the upcoming London Youth Games will play the same number or a few more if, as expected, the number of entries is larger. University volleyball provides competition with nearly 200 matches and on top of all these are the friendly games and tournaments that teams use to prepare for competition.

Malory Eagles v Beach Academy (Women’s D1 - National Volleyball League)
Visitors away, home and away
They are hoping for a happy afternoon at the Malory Eagles club next Sunday (8th April) when the women's first team, unbeaten in the first division of the National League play Beach Academy twice in quick succession. To ease everyone's travel, the Devon club is taking a week-end of matches in London and the home counties and has agreed to play its home fixture at Ernest Bevin College in Tooting. Watching will be a real alternative to the women's Super8 play-off starting ninety minutes later in Ealing.
