With their 2009/10 campaign set to begin, players from Malory Eagles reserves (who play in the London league) took the opportunity to blow away a few cobwebs as they played National League opponents Stowmarket in the first round of the National KO Cup.

London has a new Junior League started by the ISIS Club under leadship of Gaby da Silva Xavier.

Also visible on the Menu are 2 new NVL Divisions.

Mayesbrook Arena in Barking and Dagenham has become home to only the second permanent beach volleyball court in London when the new court was recently opened by Paul Hogan (Head of Leisure and Arts at B&D Council) and Lenore Gerschwitz (Chair of London Beach Volleyball Club).

London Volleyball : London Juniors make the UKSchool Games Squad

The UK School Games for 2009 will take place in Cardiff between 3-6th September. In total London has 7 boys representing England South after they were successful in a recent trial. They come from just two of our main centres for juniors, Ernest Bevin (Daniel Haughton, Theo Spencer, Andrew Isabirye and Simon Ojomoh) and Chadwell Heath(Aykut Nafioglu, Nathan Dixon and Tafeeq Adeyeu). Also, not to be forgotten, are the staff involved, Carol Gordon as Head Coach, Darius Setsofia as Asst Coach and Wayne Davies the Team Manager.
