Lynx so close to double
Lynx needed two wins this weekend to get some confidence that they could retain their Super8 place for next season and managed only one. IBB Polonia and Polonis Sideout, keen to cement their safe position in the league table duly did so, the men moving to second place in their competition and the women to third.

NVL Super 8 : Volleyball match times change to get better TV coverage

Televising IBB Polonia matches (Men's Super8 - National Volleyball League)
Changing start at Brentford Fountain
We have heard complaints for years that football match timings are dictated by TV. Now that situation is affecting volleyball. IBB Polonia will in future be playing its home Super8 matches at half past four. The club’s marketing director Bartek Luszcz says, “We get a better channel if we don’t clash with the match that starts at 1:30 London time in Poland so we decided to play at 16:30.”
“It’s a positive sign for volleyball too,” Bartek concluded.
