NVL Super 8 : Eagles and Lynx lose

Weekend results (Men’s Super8 - National Volleyball League)
Eagles safe, Lynx drop
Two games, two losses. This was the; sad statistic from the weekend's two Super8 games involving London sides. For Lynx is was sadder still; they cannot now even make the play-off to retain their place in the top flight next year and division one is their fate.

NVL Super 8 : Eagles seek to climb at Wessex

One home, one away London match (Men's Super8 - National Volleyball League)
Lynx attack Northumbria
The next weekend (17/18th March) is a quiet one as the Super8 competition's league stage approaches its closing stages and only two London teams, both men, are in action. One of them plays away as, having been postponed from the week of snow, Eagles now travel to Bournemouth to play Wessex on Saturday.

London matches away (Men's and women’s Super8 - National Volleyball League)
Eagles winged by Sheffield
Just two London Super8 sides were in action over the weekend (10/11th March) and both played away, Malory Eagles men in Sheffield and Polonia Sideout women in Birmingham.

Early season results reversed
Malory Eagles were due to play two matches over the weekend (3/4th March) but the weather put paid to a trip to play Wessex in Bournemouth on Saturday and the central heating system at their home court that remained broken after failure in mid week meant it was unsuitable as a public venue. Both teams are vying for the vital second place in the league table so the disappointed spectators will be anxiously waiting to learn the date of the rescheduled.match.
