If the score-line looks boring, the match certainly wasn't. Nor does it reflect the pattern of play although, of course, it indicates the difference in the sides' performance.

It was all too easy for hosts, K S Osemka's reserves and, given what went before, they will probably worry a little that Lionhearts' third team scored more than twenty points in a set.

Lionhearts' bottom team continues to struggle in its first season but played hard and towards the end of this interesting game challenged sufficiently seriously to suggest they can worry some of the sides above them later in the season.

Men's Div. 2 B : Beths youngsters off to England Cadet camp

Beths Grammas School (Men’s D2B - London Volleyball League)
29-30th training camp calls
Fireball have graciously agreed to postpone the fixture scheduled for 29th November at Beths Grammar School as a number of the students have been asked to attend the Volleyball England Cadet Camp that weekend. Without them, Katie Marriott will have struggled to get a team out and, if successful, it would clearly have been a much weakened side. The sporting response from Roland Chu and the Spikers club is much appreciated.

Eagles continued to make Fireball look over their shoulders in recording their fourth straight win of the season to grab top place in the division, level on points with Fireball.
