Triumphant start to tour
Following three successful years in the UK at the National Volleyball Centre, Kettering, the NEVZA Under 17 Competition moved to the town of Ikast in Denmark this week (17-19th October)
A full report can be found on the Volleyball England web site ( but the London association wants to congratulate those of its volleyballers that represented their country in any way.

Win and defeat for Polonia sides (Men's and women's Super8 - National Volleyball League)
Visitors' first set warning
While the rest of the country was expected to be concentrating on the national knock-out cup competitions, two of the three undefeated teams at the head of the men's Super8 division clashed in London. IBB Polonia and Sheffield had each won three matches out of three with Polonia having a slightly better "sets lost" record. Northumbria, the other unbeaten side was very interested, of course, as were a lot of volleyball enthusiasts in the South-east.

Sitting League : Sitting Volleyball:League Final Round

Sunday 6th February was the final round of matches for the inaugural London Sitting Volleyball League (LSVL). This new competition set up in this Paralympic Games year was designed to complement the Volleyball England Grand Prix Series and provide some additional competition for the 3 teams based in and around London both to help the teams continue their impressive recent development but also give the Great Britain Players some additional matches in preparation for the WOVD Inter Continental Cup in Cairo at the end of February.
