Chris Kemsley strain cuts squad to five
Friday’s match was postponed late as earlier that afternoon during a friendly football match Chris Kemsley strained his groin and could hardly walk let alone play volleyball. As he was the sixth player and the squad has been hit by a string of injuries an urgent email was essential. We wish him a speedy recovery.

He mentioned the frustration felt by this season’s suspension of the provision in the League Rules that means the team can no longer use players from other squads resulting in the need to pull out of the scheduled game.

In the meantime, Thunderball’s Graeme O’Connor has agreed to try and reschedule the fixture although it’s a tough task at heavily booked Bethnal Green.
