Ernest Bevin College Tooting launch the first Volleyball Academy in London.

Ernest Bevin College (Beechcroft Road, Tooting, SW17 7DF) have been the most successful College/School in London for the last 10 years. They have won two National Championships and produced a number of International players.

With the appointment of a full time Volleyball Coach, Darius Setsoafia, the College has decided to offer any London boy or girl in year 11 an opportunity to play/train up to 10 hours a week plus play weekly competitive matches and International camps. The objective of the Academy is to prepare boys and girls in years 12 and 13 for National squads, University teams, National league teams and professional teams in the world.

The Head Coach John Lowney, who will arrange to meet any interested boy or girl and test their Physical, Technical and Mental abilities, said, "To be part of the Academy, it is expected that successful candidates will join our academically successful 6th Form.
