With the Sitting GP Series in full swing and Croydon VC's 'try-out' sessions (click for details) set for February, volleyball's sitting version is getting a lot of attention at the moment.

The 'try-out' sessions have been organized by Croydon VC as part of the LOVE2 Festival taking place across South London in February and involve free sessions on three Sundays in February. They hope to attract men, women, boys and girls and there is the prospect of forming a permanent team. Croydon's Emanuel Balsamo said, "Our standing teams started this year and are doing well and I'm very excited about developing the sitting game. Being a Paralympic sport, it is obviously suitable for players with some disabilities but actually anyone can join in and play."
