London volleyball news
Coronavirus Covid 19 changes competition rules
After consultation, the London Volleyball Association Chair has made the following announcement:

Because of the latest advice from Volleyball England and taking into account the concerns of the our London Volleyball Association members the executive has taken the decision to extend the league until May 17th. We will review this date on the 17th April and update you accordingly.

For the foreseeable future, if a team is unable (for example, if players have to self-isolate or if a venue becomes unavailable) or a team is unwilling to play a match as a result of the coronavirus, no points will be deducted or fines issued, the match will instead be postponed to a later date. Due to the evolving situation, we are not yet in a position to advise on the outcome of postponed matches that cannot be re-arranged before 17th May, although we are looking at alternatives.

A new date for the London playoffs will be communicated after our review on the 17th of April.

Keep up to date with the advice from the government and from Volleyball England and do what you need to do to stay safe for each other.

Please communicate with Divisional administrator if you reschedule or postpone a match.
