Volleyball England opens national league entry for Autumn
Jon Moore, Competitions and Events Coordinator at Volleyball England has today (11th March) announced that the period for entering the national league for next season has been opened and clubs have until the end of April to get their entries to the national office in Loughborough. The opportunity is there for new teams to apply.

The league has three divisions for men and for women, arranged in pyramid form to lessen the distances travelled in the lower divisions and Jon invited potential newcomers with the words, "If you want to test yourself against the country’s very best volleyball teams, there really is no better place than the NVL. More than 130 sides compete in 15 divisions across the country, from the reigning English men’s champions IBB Polonia London to NVL women’s newcomers Urmston Grammar Volleyball and we’d love to welcome even more teams for next season.”

Full requirements for and details on how to enter can be found on the Volleyball England web site.

Most London teams entering national competition is recent years have done well but it's a big commitment. It would be good to start discussions within the club soon.
