Mayor of Lambeth presents prizes
It was the first tournament of 2020. More significantly it was the first volleyball at Brixton Leisure Centre for many years: probably about ten. Following its superb refurbishment and reopening, Giants' Cisel Ormanci was delighted to be able to organise a twelve team event there on Saturday (25th January).

Open in new windowThe day was excellent In addition to the pleasure of playing at Brixton after the renovation of the venue and playing on both courts working perfectly, the organisers also had bleachers to go with them on the side. First volleyball event for the venue after many years; it won't be the last.

A total of twelve teams competed with two on the waiting list who couldn’t make it on time to enter their teams.
Volleyball England's Chief Executive Officer Sue Storey and London Association President, Charlie Orton accompanied the guest of honour, Mr İbrahim Doğuş, Mayor of Lambeth presented prizes to all who participated:
