Mid season review Men's Premier Division (London Volleyball League)
Title battle recommences
With six of its eight teams having recorded three losses in the first part of the season, the division is proving so far to be the closest of recent years. Onyx Black is the team that has suffered four defeats but it is also one of the three that has played seven times. SQUAD has met only five of its rivals and lost by default to Onyx Black and was taken to four sets by both Lionhearts and Richmond and to five by Onyx Men.

The bottom four teams in the division get the second half of the season going on Thursday, 16th January when Onyx Men visit Wapping to see whether they or Wildcats take a step away from the relegation zone and the same evening Lionhearts Alpha entertain Lynx. Next day the two leaders, separated by a sets difference of three, meet to decide whether Richmond or Inter Barracudas lead the table at the end of the evening. The following Sunday Onyx Black entertain SQUAD in the challenge for a temporary third place
