QKX beat ULU 21:11 21:17 21:16 Women's Premier Division (London Volleyball League)
Impressive display in Westminster
What an explosive start! QKX raced through the first set and left the university reeling during the second and third. Both team hire the same venue for home matches and they seemed determined to prove themselves number one.

With Valeria Longato serving, QKX won the first three rallies and, after the side out that followed immediately, Michalina Laz's serving set up five more. Valeria Longato and Lorena Mirzan were impressive in front court and the score mounted quickly until they were in back court when ULU began to assert themselves although their cause looked hopeless. The set lasted just fifteen minutes

However, they had now settled and played much better for the remainder of the game. There was relatively little between the sides and ULU actually led for a short while early in the third set but for the rest of play QKX proved marginally the stronger and slowly and progressively moved further ahead to take both sets and the match 3:0. Having taken a set off league leaders Lionhearts a fortnight earlier, they will be looking to move up the table.
