Women's NEVZA title on line in Egham
Open in new windowPolonia will be there and hoping to emulate their name-sake, IBB Polonia who won the equivalent men's title in February. The women's club will be competing in the North European Volleyball Zonal Association (NEVZA) Women’s Club Championships in Egham next weekend (15-17th November)

The tournament will be staged at the American School in Egham, not far for supporters and London volleyball fans to travel with play on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The championships are for teams that are not at CEV Champions League level and Polonia's opposition will be Brondby Volleyball Club (Denmark), Team Koge Volley (Denmark), Oslo Volley (Norway), ToppVolleyNorge (Norway) and, Randaberg Volleyball (Norway). Koge Volley and Brondby VK currently lie second and third in the Danish Women’s Volleyball League while Randaberg are top of the Norwegian Women’s Elite league with Oslo third and ToppVolleyNorge ninth. Polonia lie fourth in the English Super League but with a game in hand, are one of five teams recording a single loss so far this season

Egham Orbit Sports Hall, Vicarage Road, Egham, TW20 8NL, Friday 15th from 16.00, Saturday 16th from 10.00 and Sunday 17th November from 13.00
