European Volleyball Federation (CEV) Champions League
Croatian champions to play at Copper Box
Open in new windowTickets are now on sale for the biggest club volleyball match yet seen in London. IBB Polonia's first round opposition in the European Champions League will be Mladost Zagreb: English champions against Croatian champions. Massive support is sought for the evening of Wednesday 30th October at the Copper Box Arena in Olympic Park.

Everyone who watched the wonderful match last February when the club competed in the CEV Challenge Cup last 16 at Crystal Palace will want to repeat the experience at the Copper Box. The former Olympic venue is a much larger hall, however, and the club is looking to attract a much bigger crowd of several thousand to see the team's efforts. The lower hall's capacity is 5,500 and it would be great if London club volleyball could fill it. It will certainly be well worth the trip. Doors will open at six in the evening for a 7.00 p.m. first serve. Today's TV news (1st October) tells us how Japan is getting enthused by rugby. I've just been in France and seen how its people have responded in huge numbers to the final rounds of the European Volleyball Championships. Let London volleyball do the same.

The entry price is £30 plus a £3 booking fee and children under eleven accompanied by an full paying adult will pay just one pound plus a 10p booking fee. Why not buy your ticket here now? Buying your ticket through this link will bring the return of 20% to the Association to help build the sport in our city.

You will also be part of a wonderful evening of top quality volleyball
