Under 18 Beach Volleyball European Championship
Richmond players off to Austria
Volleyball England has announced the selection of the players who will be representing England at the upcoming Under 18 European Championships to take place in Baden (Austria) from 13th to 16th June.

Boys: The selected team are London players Jonathan Drysdale Anderson and Bartosz Soczewka, both from Richmond Volleyball Club. It will be the second participation for Jonathan who teamed up with Noah Goalen (also from Richmond) in 2018 and came back with a 17th finish.
Girls: The selected team are Izzy Tucker (Buckinghamshire) and Katie Keefe from London (Richmond Volleyball)
This will also be the second participation for Katie, who paired with Ellie Austin (from Croyde) in 2018 when England finished 9th.

This is the fourth consecutive year where London players have been selected to represent England in this competition, with Javier and Joaquin Bello adding two 5th place finishes in 2016 (Brno, Czech Republic) and 2017 (Kazan, Russia), the best ever results of any English team in a European competition of any age group.

London's Richmond Volleyball Club's beach programme is now in its fifth year and continues to attract every season over a hundred junior players of all ages. It has become the most successful beach volleyball development hub in the country.
