Division 1B (Men's London Volleyball League)
SQUAD recover and continue chase
Lionhearts have gone top leaving SQUAD in their wake to recover when challenged by Black Bears towards the end of the month.

Playing as Bald Eagles, Malory Eagles 2 made a good start to the second part of the season, ramping up the pressure after edging a close and exciting first set against Black Bears, 19:21.

Three days later, all eyes were on the clash of the division's unbeaten sides at Lionhearts' Mulberry Academy venue. SQUAD began the stronger winning the opening set but, after losing the second by the narrowest of margins, the hosts were able to raise their game and came away with the spoils. The sides are due to meet again in the last match of the season on 14th April. It should be a game to savour.

The same evening Osemka 2 got the better of Waltham Forest, playing away, and open up a gap between the top five teams and those below them in the competition.

The month's contests came to an end when Black Bears travelled to SQUAD. The hosts played confidently for two sets but then a slight relaxation allowed their guests back into the game and they had to play hard to secure the third set 22:20.
