Spikers lost to Lynx, 21:14 12:21 20:22 12:21, Premier Division (Men's London Volleyball League)
Lynx go top of three unbeaten sides
Lynx travelled to Paddington Green to be met by a determined Spikers team that held the upper hand throughout the opening set but then imposed their own mark on an excellent match to come away with their fourth victory of the current season.

For one rotation in the first set, the home side enjoyed a single point lead most of the time but, having moved to 10:8 they raised their game and raced to 15:8 and from that position they held their own as both teams strove to gain the upper hand.

Having lost the opening rally, Lynx took charge of the second and raced to 9:13, continuing to pile on points to 10:19. A minute later, they had levelled the scores. Clearly determined not let their opponents get too far ahead, Spikers were back in the game in the third. In a tremendous tussle, the sides played magnificent volleyball and the home supporters must have felt their team had done enough to take the lead again when Lynx took a time-out at 18:16. However, the talk settled the visiting players who demonstrated their class as they took the set. Spikers were always behind in the following set but only by a point or two until the score reached 9:11 when Lynx turned on the power once again and steamed to victory.
