Division 2A (Men's London Volleyball League)
Baks, IVA, Lynx and Crusaders all win away
The division's season opened in a thrilling fashion as Baks and Blockbusters battled for victory only to run out of time. When things had to finish the visitors led 5:11 so the league points went to Baks.

Next day, AVC entertained IVA Persia and the spectators there enjoyed an equally entertaining match although it was to end in four sets. The home side had won the opening set and challenged well in the second before the greater experience of IVA took them to the top of the table.

They stay there as they have played an extra game but on 7th October, Crusaders visited and, after sweeping them away rather too easily, were forced to produce their very best to win the next two sets by the smallest possible margin.

Lynx 2 had a competitive game against Red Rebels and won the match 2:3. Set scores are awaited as is the result of Rebel's game against Tunnel Diggers.
