London Volleyball : Diversity come, see and conquer

6th Series results, (Richmond VC Community Challenger Cup)
Newcomers raise the standard
The reputation of Richmond's tournament continues to grow and the sixth tournament of the season attracted four new entrants. Congratulations to one of them, Diversity on winning the sixth Challenger Cup on Saturday (3rd February).

The other newcomers were London Blockbusters who finished third, Cays who took fourth place and Oliver Maki, sixth. Previous tournament winners Philippine Eagles and Azzurri finished next to top and next to bottom respectively with Richmond's own entrants fifth and eighth.

Richmond VC extends a big thanks to all the teams and supporters creating a fantastic atmosphere and a great day of volleyball.

One more event remains and it will be held on Saturday 3rd March 2018 at the usual venue, Richmond College Sports Hall, Twickenham (11.30am to 5pm), the 7th Series of the Challenger Cup. New and existing teams are most welcome to enter.

Format Up to 8 teams, 2 courts, 6 hours, 20 matches, 12 matches at group stage, 2 groups of 4 and round robin, 4 semi-finals, 4 finals. Every team plays 5 matches, of 30 mins, to 31 points, 3 group matches, 1 semi-final, 1 final. Mixed intermediate with at least 3 female players on court. Junior teams (under 18) can play with all boys or all girls.
