Streaming matches, (Volleyball England service to member clubs)
New headquarters initiative
Announced on the national association's web site yesterday (19th January) member clubs playing in national or regional competition can now arrange for their matches to be streamed live.

Those wanting to see what's available can go to the web site www.volleyballengland.org and find the current article with its links to this weekend's matches. We anticipate a permanent link as the service gets established. Saturday's matches were: Super8 women Durham v Polonia Sideout, Super8 men Lynx v Essex and NVL men's division 2 Lynx v Tendring and Sunday's is Northumbria v Polonia Sideout.

This is an exciting new service offered to members and good use of it will surely enhance volleyball's image. Each week the Association will advertise and provide a live link to matches where the club is live streaming its game to let folk know they can tune into it. So, if you want your family and friends to watch you play and they can't get to the venue, ask your club to avail itself of the facility. Your club secretary knows what to do but be willing to help. One team has already learned that if you leave the camera unattended in the corner it is unprotected from a flying volleyball.
