UEL is excited to offer its High Performance Volleyball programme to members of the London Volleyball Association. UEL can offer unrivalled support to volleyball players in London who wish to complete a university degree and compete regularly for both a university and their club.

The Volleyball programme is one of the most successful in the Universities relatively short sporting history. The programme attracts some of the country’s best players to the nation’s capital who gain access to an elite programme of coaching and support. Our mens and womens teams are led by accomplished coaches Jefferson Williams (Malory Eagles, Volleyball England) and Ian Legrand (TeamGB) who provide between 10 - 12 hours of regular team and small group sessions with the players in addition to an extensive support package including Strength and Conditioning, Physiotherapy and Sports Massage.

UEL offers a range of full time and part time course for Undergraduate and Postgraduate study including foundation level study and entry courses to Higher Education. To find out more on our courses click here.

Both the Men’s and Women’s programmes consistently finish in the top 5 in the country with the programme supporting both Indoor and Beach Volleyball throughout the year.

UEL’s commitment to player development have led to the University achieving Volleyball England senior academy status with a number of players gaining professional contracts overseas upon graduation.
