Volleyball England are currently reviewing the brand messaging and part of this process is involving creating some images that can be used for posters and other promotional items.

They are holding a photo shoot on Tuesday 16th March in a studio with a professional photographer and stylist to help coordinate the day. They are looking for volleyballers to be in the photos and as the shoot is taking place in London all those in the ‘local area’ are being targeted first. Any ability, age, gender is welcome, whether you are a beach, indoor or sitting player!

The women's team from Imperial College (pictured) and another from UCL have qualified for the BUCS championships in Sheffield on 12 to 14 March. This will be the third consecutive qualification for Imperial's women for these championships run for students by the British Universities and Colleges Sports. Imperial's men's team, who were top contenders, should also have made it but were disqualified by defaulting their match against a weak Oxford for failing to organise a referee.

South East Volleyball Association will be running a Sitting Volleyball Awareness Workshop at Ashcombe High School, Dorking on Saturday 10th April at 13:00 which will be tutored by Tom Middleton and Emmanual Balsamo.

Eagles Land in Final
Malory Eagles will be contesting their 9th National Cup final in 10 years following a 3-1 victory over Newcastle Staffs. The final, to be held at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, will see the event’s return to the Capital in an all London final; Polonia having beaten current champions, Sheffield.

Three London Teams, London Polonia, Malory Eagles and Polonia Ladies are through to the main Cup Finals at Crystal Palace on 24th April. Tickets are available now and massive support is expected. Along with the senior event are the sitting volleyball GP play-offs and on the following day the juniors get to play in their finals.
