Beginners & Improvers Session

Run by: Flaming Six Volleyball Club

What goes on:
Sessions will cover the basic skills and techniques in volleyball for fun game play. At the start of each session we will work on targeting the most frequently used skills in the game, these will vary from setting, digging, serving and hitting. We will also try to get some games going to help players understand the importance of positioning and team playing.

The aim is to teach new players a greater understanding of match-play volleyball as well as the passing, serving and hitting skills to hold their own on court.

After each session we will head to the local bar/pub for refreshments and getting to know your fellow players.

Places are strictly limited to 20 (with two coaches present) to ensure that one on one advice can be given.

When:
Thursday evenings from 8.00pm to 9.25pm

Cost:
£6.00 per session

What to bring:
Comfortable sports wear, trainers (no hard shoes), water.
